Show f! DEATHS ! BOB H. MITCHELL NEOLA Funeral services were held at Neola LDS Ward Chapel under the direction of Bishop Lazell Henrie at 11 a. m. Monday for Bob H. Mitchell, 7-month-old son of Arthur and LaVera Halverson Mitchell, who died in Park City on Thursday. Dec. 4, at 3:10 p. m., enroute with his parents and a nurse from the Roosevelt LDS Hospital Hos-pital to Salt Lake City for medical med-ical care. He had been ill three days. He was born at Roosevelt April 27, 1952. He is survived by his parents; three sisters, Anna. Jean, Lanna June and Louise Mitchell, all of Neola; four grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Elroy Halverson, Neola; Ne-ola; and Mr. and Mrs. JVI. R. Mitchell, Midvale; and a great-grandmother, great-grandmother, Mrs. A. M. Fuel, Neola. Burial in the Neola Cemetery was under the direction of the Olpin Mortuary of Roosevelt. PETER W. HARRISON LAPOINT Funeral services were conducted Saturday in th2 Lapoint LDS Ward Chapel for Peter W. Harrison, 22. member of the U. S. Armed Forces, 'who died November 29 in Letterman Army Hospital, San Francisco, of carcinoma, following an illness ill-ness of a year's duration. Born Feb. 2, 1930, in Lapoint. he was a son of Jeremiah and Elizabeth Nyberg- Harrison. He-attended He-attended Lapoint schools and in 1948 was graduated from Alter-ra Alter-ra High School. He entered military service June 11, 1950, and was stationed at Camp Roberts, Cal.. until his illness began in November, 1950. He was then transferred to the hospital. Mr. Harrison was a member of the Church of Jesus Chris4 of Latter-day Saints and held the office of teacher at the time of his death. Surviving are his parents, five brothers and three sisters, John C. Harrison, Vernal; Hayden C. Murray, Dale and Clinton. Jea-neal Jea-neal and Elizabeth Ann Harrison, Harri-son, all of Lapoint, and Ramom Harrison, serving a mission in Mexico. A brother, Ferris J. Harrison. ;was killed on Biak Island in the Pacific, Dec. 16. 1944. Burial was in the Lapoint Cemetery under direction of the Olpin Mortuary of Roosevelt. ILIOS B. (BUD) REED LAPOINT Funeral services will be held tomorrow, Friday, at 1 p. m. in the Lapoint LDS Ward Chapel for Ilios Becken-neth Becken-neth (Bud) Reed, 38, who died Saturday at 11 p. m. of a heart .He was born Aug. 16, 1914, in Fort Duchesne, a son of James B. and Rachel Bursor. Reed. He married Ezilda Van in April, 1936, at Fort Duchesne. He served in World War IT and was a member of the Fort Duchesne American Legion Post 126. He was a member of the Episcopal Church at Whiterocks. Survivors include his widow; five sons' and four daughters: Robert, Stewart, Russell, Donald, Don-ald, Franklin, Colleen. Margaret, Sue, Cordia Mae, Luana Kay Reed, all of Lapoint; his mother. Mrs. Rachel Van, Fort Duchesne; five brothers, Bill Reed, Roosevelt; Roose-velt; John Reed, Phoenix, Ariz.: Wilson Reed, Hiawatha. Kan.: Glen and Charles Reed, both of Fort Duchesne; three sisters. Mrs. Lilly Wash, Roosevelt; Mrs. Anita Reyos, Albuquerque, N. M.; Mrs. Lorraine Neilson, Fort Duchesne. Burial will be in the Lapoint Cemetery under the direction of! the Dillman Mortuary of Roosevelt. Roos-evelt. GEORGE E. HALLETT Funeral services were conducted con-ducted today at 1 p. m. in the Roosevelt Masonic Temple, under un-der the direction of Basin Lodg No. 20, F. & A. M., for George E. Hallett, 86, who died in the Roosevelt LDS Hospital, Sunday Sun-day at 4 p. m., after an extend ed illness. He was born June 6. 1866 at Nova Scotia, Canada, a son oi Daniel and Barbara Inman Hallett. Hal-lett. He had been a farmer and stockmen in various Uintah Basin Ba-sin communities. He was a member of Brecken-ridge Brecken-ridge Lodge No. 47, Free ant" Accepted Masons, in Brecken-ridge, Brecken-ridge, Colo. Survivors include a daughter. Mrs. W. J. Marx, Denver, and two grandchildren. Burial will be in the Altonah Cemetery, under direction of the Olpin Mortuary, of Roosevelt. |
