Show The five Duchesne Countv School Board members attend-eded attend-eded a convention of Boards of Education in Salt Lake City on Tuesday. Making the trip were Marion A. Harrison, president of the board, E. L. Murphy. W. R. Harris, B. A. Jacoby ' and Theron Leavitt. Friends of Mrs. Rose Griffin, mother of Frank Griffin, of Whiterocks, will be interested to know that she is ill at her home in Ogden. Her address is 519 Chester, Ogden. Mrs. Theron Leavitt accompanied accom-panied her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Orrin Gardner, of Hayden, to Salt Lake Monday. Mr. Leavitt Leav-itt was a Salt Lake City visitor Wednesday. Mrs. Anna Roberts, former Roosevelt resident, is convalescing convales-cing from her recent illness and will spent the winter with her son, Ray F. Roberts, and family, alt 392 West 1st North, Lehi. Mr. and Mrs. Byron Gilbert, and daughter, Tamra. have been visiting here with his parents. Mr. and Mrs. John Gilbert. Byron has received notice that he would be stationed at Fort Douglas instead of at San Francisco, Fran-cisco, where he was previously located. Returning from Salt Lake City Sunday with Mrs. Reed Hancock was her brother, James L. Aitkeri, who recently returned return-ed from an L D S mission ti Scotland and England. He wi'l report next Monday for his physical examination. His brother, broth-er, John, entered military ser vice Tuesday and is stationed at Fort Ord. California. Mrs. Marion . Moore arrived last Friday from Crescent, Oklahoma, Okla-homa, to make her home hera with her children, Terry and Darlene. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert . McKen-na McKen-na have received word that their son, Earl McKenna, sailed from England Wednesday and will be home Christmas Eve. He has just completed a 2-year British LDS mission. The Burgess- family went to Pleasant Grove last week to attend the basketball game. They enjoyed visiting with their son, Jackie, who was there from Snow College. |
