There are 25 different generations gener-ations in Mrs. Jacobs' family. . . She recently passed her 88th birthday. . Sarah Jacob Is i 88 - Boasts Of j 25 Operates Mrs. Sarah Jacobs, a native of Washington, Utah, and a resi- dent of Roosevelt for the past 36 years, is 88 years old,- and can boast 25 different genera tions in her family. She is the mother of eight children, five of whom are still living in various var-ious parts of the country, , A couple of weeks ago Mrs. Jacobs was host to her grand daughter, great-granddaughter, .and great-great-granddaughter, and the men of the families, i who reside at Hiawatha in Carbon Car-bon County. At the present tha tid-year-oid lady lives with her son, John Jacobs Jr.. and a grandson, Prime Jacobs. Back in 1880, July 4. .the kind1 old lady of our stojy was married mar-ried to John C. Jacobs in Es-j calante, Utah. Later their marriage mar-riage was solemnized in the St. j George LDS Temple. It was in May 1920 when they came to the Basin to seek their fortune Her husband died several years ago. Following are her living children; chil-dren; John Jr., Roosevelt; Mrs. Minnie Christensen, Englewood, California; Mrs. Mary Jane Tanner, Portland, Oregon; Arthur Ar-thur Jacobs, Provo', and Reuben Jacobs. Murray. Deceased are I Ernest, Mrs. Mae Hampton' and ' Mrs. Sadie Carrell. |
