Show Wkiteloclzs Madeena Smith Mr. and Mrs. Robert Marimon returned Sunday from a two-week two-week vacation trip to California, where they spent Thanksgiving with their children, Robert Jr . and Nancy, who are students at Occidental College. The Indian and ward mutuals held joint meetings Tuesday night. Lessons were given and dancing was enjoyed. A party was given by the missionaries mis-sionaries for the following Indian In-dian boys, Hiawatha Provo John Ioup and Hugh Chegup. all members of the U. S. armed service. Ice i cream and cookies were served. Mrs. Gilbert Ellingford went to Vernal recently to visit her , mother, Mrs. Matilda Moosman. who is ill and staying there at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Erma Sessions. 1 Henderson Sackinent is home i after spending several days in , the Roosevelt Hospital. The Charley Bush family has moved to its new home at Bennett. Ben-nett. Mrs. Virgil Robb has returned home from the hospital. A radio program was given m school by the 5th graders It consisted of a musical number by Tom Goodrich and a play entitled "Christmas Around the World. It was written by Mrs. Viola K. Adams. A large group of students participated. Lorna Oberhansly was the announcer. Among those attending the funeral services for Peter Harrison Har-rison at Lapoint Saturday were Clarence Murray and family Mrs. Luella Brough. Mrs. Zella Pike, and Mrs. Stanley Hoops Roy Adams and son. Jack, returned re-turned Saturday night from Brown Park with a nice deer. There is about three inchas of snow in Whiterocks. |
