Show TRIDELL Lorna McKee WARD CARNIVAL HELD WEDNESDAY EVENING The Primary and Relief Society sponsored a Ward Carnival Wednesday Wed-nesday evening to raise funds to complete our building. The event was held in our new recreation hall. Featured were a nail pounding pound-ing contest, weight contest, fish pond, bazaar, and a delicious food sale. An interesting program was the highlight of the evening. A NEW DAUGHTER Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Goodrich are the very proud parents of a baby daughter, born at the Roosevelt Roose-velt Hospital Oct. 4th. Mr. Goodrich, Good-rich, who is still in the Navy, is stationed at Formosa. Mrs. Goodrich Good-rich and her new daughter returned re-turned home from the hospital, Sunday Mrs. Jack Goodrich and children accompanied Mrs. Rose Gilbert of Myton to Salt Lake over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Harvey accompanied ac-companied Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Merkley and James Bacon to Richfield, Rich-field, Sunday, to attend the dedication dedi-cation of a new Indian chapel. Speakers at Sacrament meeting Sunday night were Lee and Chellis Caldwell from Vernal and La Wanna Wan-na Oman, who has been living in California. Fireside Chat was held Sunday night after Sacrament meeting at the Charles Glines home, with Wendel Johnson, Union Seminary teacher, as guest speaker. Hostesses Hostess-es were Alice Glines and Sherlene Harvey. A SON FOR THE McKEES Mr. and Mrs. Reed McKee are the proud parents of a new son, born at the Uintah County Hospital, Hospit-al, Oct. 4th. Mrs. McKee returned home with her new baby Friday. Visiting their parents, the Dar-rell Dar-rell Goodriches, over the weekend were Kay, Loye, and Peggy Goodrich, Good-rich, from Provo. Visiting at the James Harvey and Farrel Simmons home over the weekend were Mr. and Mrs. George Harvey, of Salt Lake, and Mr. and Mrs. Orson Harvey and son from Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Glines and son and Mrs. Orlan Oman and son were visitors at the Charles Glines' home over the weekend. ,Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Ross and Dee left Saturday, morning for a trip to Pasco, Washington. Lester Bartlett made a trip to Salt Lake last week after a load of storm doors and windows. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Glines went to Salt Lake last week to attend the funeral of Lowell (Pud) Cook, a former resident of Tri-deli, Tri-deli, who was killed in an airplane air-plane accident at Guatamala. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bowden, of Salt Lake, were visitors at the Rae Goodrich home last weekend. Mrs. Dale Anderson is employed employ-ed at Ashtons' store in Vernal. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Morri'I and sons have gone to Moses Lake, Washington to live. Marion has employment on a farm there. |
