Show PEP CLUB LEADERS CHOSEN The new Pep Club leaders at Altamont High School are: Doris Allred, Gay McDonald, Marilyn Swasey and Coreene Cook. 1 Mrs. Chester H. Hartman has been quite ill for the past two two weeks, and we are glad to note a slight improvement in her condition. Mrs. E. Max Hartman was in Duchesne on Thursday of last week on business and to visit with friends. Mrs. Floid Hartman went to Salt Lake City Sunday to attend the state cancer convention held Monday Mon-day and Tuesday. She was accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Reed Lyons, of Mt. Home. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. H. Case were Sunday guests of several Hartman families of Mt. Emmons. During the afternoon, a picnic lunch was enjoyed at the river, the group separated into their respective re-spective board meeting. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Nielson and family, of Springville, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Grant Hansen and family and Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Hansen and family, Sunday, Oct. 2. (Late for Last Week) The Mt. Emmons Gleaner class met Thursday, Sept. 29 at the home of their teacher, Mrs. Edgar Miles. At the close of the class the group was served delicious hot chicken pie, punch, jello salad and home-made cookies. Owena, Ann and Carol Goodrich spent a few days at the Johnny Lambert home while their mother was in Salt Lake City for Relief Society conference. Mr., and Mrs. Alma Smith were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Young for Sunday dinner honoring Mrs. Smith on her birthday. Mrs. Edgar Miles enjoyed an afternoon af-ternoon visit with her daughter, Mrs. Marland Lott, of Roosevelt. Elk hunter Ned Mitchell returned return-ed with his elk Monday morning. His party of 5 netted 4 elk. Mr. and Mrs. Jewel Kolb celebrated cele-brated their 15th wedding anniversary anni-versary Saturday with a dinner at the Frontier Grill in company with Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lerdahl. |
