Show Changes Made In Roosevelt Ward Are Announced According to . Bishop John L. Swenson of the Roosevelt ward, several changes have been made in the personnel of the ward's official of-ficial family the past few weeks. On Oct. 9 John Blaine was sustained sus-tained as ward clerk, succeeding Burr Eldredge, who was called as activity counselor in the stake MIA. Assistant clerk also sustained sustain-ed last week was Keith Winterton who succeeds Merle Jennings, who has moved into the Second ward. Calling Mr. Blaine into the ward clerk's post created a vacancy in the Sunday School superintendency where he was the superintendent. Chosen to replace Mr. Blaine in this position was Eldred Ailred, who selected Thure Carlson as his first assistant. Both these men were assistants to Mr. Blaine. A second counselor was not. announced an-nounced for the Sunday School. Two new counselors have been called into activity in the YMMIA to serve with President Rae Scholes. William Staheli is the activity counselor, and Ted Heath has accepted the call as manual counselor. Mr. Scholes replaced Hank Swain as president when he moved to the Fourth ward. A secretary sec-retary in this department has not been chosen. Presidency of the YWMIA in- eludes Mrs. Marjorie Memmott, president, with Mrs. Faun Leav-itt, Leav-itt, activity counselor and Mrs. Alameda McKenna, manual' counselor. coun-selor. The latter recently replaced Mrs. Donna Swain when she moved mov-ed from the ward. . |
