Show Dry Forest Calls For Hunters' Help Forest Supervisor Gilbert Doll today advised that the Ashley National Na-tional Forest is critically dry and will remain so until such time as another fall storm dampens the forest cover. We certainly request that each sportsman use extreme care this fall to help us prevent fires. Most fires can be prevented if you will follow these simple rules: 1. Crush out your smokes. 2. Break your match in two. 3. Drown your camp and warming warm-ing fires. Be sure that every spark is out. As a good sportsman, we also know that you will: 1. Observe the game laws. 2. Will not jeopardize the lives of others while hunting. 3. Will not waste wild meat. 4. Will' respect the rights, privileges, priv-ileges, and property of others. 5.
