Show ATTEND INSTITUTE School was closed Thursday and Friday and teachers Mrs. Thelma Lee, Mrs. Georgie Thompson and Mrs. ;Cynthia Taylor went to Salt Lake City to attend the Teachers Institute. They were accompanied by Rex Taylor. Mr. and Mrs. Hayden Fostci attended at-tended the LDS church in Artesia, Colo, and motored to Rangely and were dinner guests of a daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Steel and family. Miss Velma Pickup, of Randlett, was a weekend guest of Miss Je Neal Harrison. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Murray and son, of Whiterocks, were last Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jeremiah Harrison and family. Mrs. Nettie Jensen, of Roosevelt, Roose-velt, was a visitor of her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins, Sr., and attended the shower and dance of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Jenkins. TEACHER TRAINING LESSON The Primary Teachers' Training meeting was held Wednesday at 2:30 in the ward chapel. Mrs. Ora Swain gave the lesson. Mr. and Mrs. McKay Nyberg were in Sal Lake Ciy recently, where Mrs. Nyberg received medical med-ical aid. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Norton, of Roosevelt, were visitors of Mr. Norton's mother, Mrs. Sarah 'Norton. 'Nor-ton. Mrs. Wayne Neilson, Charley Burton, Mrs. Dawn Huber and son, Ralph, Mr. and Mrs. David Jenkins. Jen-kins. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins were in Roosevelt, Tuesday. Doll Yakem has gone to Baggs, Wyoming to spend the winter with his sister. |
