Show Kiwanis Club Will Meet On Thursday To Elect Officers At a recent meeting of the Roosevelt Roos-evelt Kiwanis Club the members voted to change its meeting day from Wednesday to Thursday, beginning be-ginning this week. According to John Wogec, presidenf, it was the decision of the group that better attendance would be enjoyed by the club by changing nights. Tonight the local club will select new officers to serve during 1956. Nominated for the office of president presi-dent are Orson Stevens, a charter members, and manager of the Stevens Stev-ens Sand and Gravel Co., and Lynn Dye, manager of the Hi-Land Dairy plant here. The high man in the contest will be the president and the other will fill the vice-presidency spot. Directors will be selected from among Floyd Peterson, Ervil Asay, Don Truman, Ted Harmston, J. C. Zimmerman, Cliff Memmott, and Lawrence P.ack. The retiring president pres-ident will automatically serve as a member of the board next year. Mr. Truman is currently serving as secretary. |
