Show First Meeting The Moffat ward Relief Society held its first winter meeting Thursday Thurs-day afternoon at 1 o'clock. President Presi-dent Mary Arnold welcomed the large group and Eliza Perry was in charge of the games. Ice cream, cantaloupe and cookies were served. ser-ved. UTES' ELK HUNT Twenty elk permits were issued is-sued by the Ute tribe to its members mem-bers for an elk hunt at Hilt Creek. Nearly all returned with their elk. The largest reported so far was bagged by Everett Daniels. Mr. and Mrs. J. Arnold and 3 daughters, Judy, Rose Mary and Kay Dean, were speakers at Sacrament Sac-rament meeting in Moffat ward Sunday evening. A piano solo was played by Judy. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Iorg are now living in their new home in Altonah. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Nebeker motored to Salt Lake Sunday for a visit with Mr. and Mrs. P. E. Russon, parents of Mrs. Nebeker. Mr. and Mrs. Les Beardall and children spent the weekend visiting visit-ing relatives in Provo. Mrs. Annie Dilworth made a business trip to Salt Lake Thursday. Thurs-day. She also took Dr. and Mrs. S. M. Berge, on a tour of the Uinta Canyons. Dr. Berge has been here working in the clinic for 3 weeks. They left Sunday for White River, Arizona, where they will make their home. Mr. and Mrs. Homie Secakukee announce the birth of a son, Oct. 15th. The little fellow weighed in at 5 lbs. and will be welcomed home by his two brothers. |
