Show ELeUt Mrs. Garda Seeley Relief Societies Join In Meeting The Upalco Relief Society .ladies joined the Bluebell Relief Re-lief Society on Tuesday and enjoyed en-joyed the very interesting liter- I ature lesson and social given by Berneice Atwood and Helen Mitchell, literature teachers for both wards. Upalco women present pres-ent were Mrs. Helen Mitchell, Mrs'. Marie Roper, Mrs. Naoma Swasey, Mrs. Winnie Carroll, Mrs. Hugo Mitchell, Mrs. Nettie Potts, Mrs. LaRene Ricks, Mrs. Eldora Mitchell. A delicious dessert des-sert lunch was served. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Goodrich and two children, of Salt Lake Lake City, spent the weekend here visiting with relatives. A large crowd from Bluebell attended the graduation exercises exer-cises at Altamont, Wednesday. Those in the graduating class from Bluebell were: Twila Larsen, Lar-sen, Jolene Neilson, Paul Bird, Max Allred, Cheryl Remington, i Billie Lisonbee, Wayne Bird and ! Margaret Bird. I Cheryl Remington was vale dictorian ana iviargarex ruru was salutatorian. Mr. and Mrs. Hosea Lisonbee, of Salt Lake City, visited on Wednesday here with relatives. They were here to attend graduation grad-uation exercises for their daugh- ter, Billie. Mrs. Mary Merrell, of Salt Lake City, is here visiting with, her daughter Mrs. Lucille Winkler, Wink-ler, and family. 'E. L. Murphy and Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Stevenson were visitors vis-itors at Sunday School and Sacrament Sac-rament meeting on Sunday. Mr. Murphy and Mr. Stevenson each gave very inspiring and humble talks in Sacrament meeting. Mrs. Mary Merrell was also a speaker. BOY SCOUTS ON HIKE The Boy Scouts held a weiner roast on Thursday evening under und-er the direction of their leader Elder Reed Anderson at his farm. Those joining the fun and scratches and bruises were Dal Seeley, Phil Mathews, Jay Goodrich, Good-rich, Drew Goodrich, Clyde Goodrich, Douglas White, Jerry Lambert, Danny Bird, Micheal and Larry Lisonbee, Keith Roberts, Rob-erts, Paul Monsen, Calvin Powell, Pow-ell, and their leader. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Flagg and family, of Salt Lake City, spent a few days here visiting with Mrs. Flagg's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wally Neilson. The main attraction for their visit here was to attend the graduation exercises ex-ercises of their sister, Miss Jolene Jo-lene Neilson. Jolene returned to Salt Lake City with the Flaggs on Saturday, where she will find employment. Phil Mathews was riding his horse and another horse kicked him on his right leg. He was taken to the doctor at Roosevelt for medical treatment. Six stich-es stich-es were taken to close the gash. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Goodrich received word on Sunday of the birth of a son to Mr. and Max Owen of Roosevelt. The Owens have two girls and this is their son. |
