Show Reception And Dance Honor Newlyweds Complimenting Mr. and Mrs. Al K. Barlow, recent newly-weds, newly-weds, was a reception and dance held at the Roosevelt Stake House last Friday evening, when many friends called to offer congratulations to the young couple, who exchanged marriage vows May 16 at the Reynolds residence, with Hollis G. Hul-linger, Hul-linger, president of the Roosevelt Roose-velt LDS stake, officiating. In the receiving line besides the bride and groom were the bride's " mother, Mrs. Carlyle Reynolds, Howard Reynolds, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Barlow, parents of the groom, and Mrs. John Chasel and Miss, Leah Duncan, the bride's attendants. The new Mrs. Barlow chose a formal gown of white nylon net with lace paneled insets over white satin, designed with a round neckline and silver sequin se-quin trim. Her corsage was of pink rosebuds and v white carnations. car-nations. Mrs. Chasel wore a deep rose formal of net over taffeta and had a corsage of white gardenia garden-ia and pink carnations; Miss Duncan chose an aqua blue taf-fet taf-fet gown accented with a pink, and white carnation corsage. Mother of the bride was attired in a navy and white sheer print while the groom's mother chose an ivory and gold dress; both had corsages of pink rosebuds and white carnations. In charge of the serving room were Mrs. Theron Leavitt, Mrs. Howard Reynolds, Mrs. Sylvan' Reynolds and Miss Lorraine Anderson, An-derson, assisted by the Misses Peggy Oldroyd, Yvonne Fret-well Fret-well and Marlene Fredrickson. . The lace covered table was cen tered with an attractive arrangement arrange-ment of pastel pink gladioli in' a crystal bowl, accented at either eith-er end with pale green tapers in crystal candleabra. Miss VaLoy Reynolds and Mrs. Arvin Bellon were in charge of the gift room. During the reception hours, the following program was presented- piano solos, Laura Ann Leavitt; vocal solo, "I Love You-Truly," You-Truly," Mrs. Garth Gardner; vocal solo, "Because," by Ray Johnston; and vocal duet, Mrs Gardner and Mr. Johnston.
