Show Arcadia Mrs. Elsie Bird Graduation List From Union High The following from here were graduated from Union High School Thursday night: Leon Ross, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Mar-ion Ross; Ronald Zirker, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Zirker, now of Moses .Lake, Wash ; Hazel Johnson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Johnson; Mildred Bird, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird; Norma Larsen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James O. Larsen. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gilbert spent a few days in Salt Lake City, returning home Tuesday. The girls who attended the Senior Tea at Roosevelt, May 18, were: Hazel Johnson, Norma Nor-ma Larsen and Mildred Bird. Those who attended Junior High graduation were: Mrs. Gladys Ross, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Mar-vin G. Shields, Mrs. Gladys Capson, Mrs. Rose Gilbert, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Horrocks. Mr. and Mrs. John Zirker, of Moses Lake, Wash., came down to be on hand for their son, Ronald's graduation; also his sister sis-ter and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde DeGraff, Mrs. Ersyle Macknoughat, Miss Shirley and Marilyn Zirker. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Gilbert are rejoicing over a baby boy, born May 17th at the Heber City Hospital. The proud papa is wearing a big smile. Mother and babe are doing fine. Mrs. Gilbert will be remembered as Miss Betty Lou Hicken. Mrs. Nancy Gilbert went to Heber City to see Mrs. Howard Gilbert and new son, Tuesday. Lamar Ross, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Ross, and Linda Larsen, Lar-sen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James O. Larsen, graduated from Primary, Sunday evening. Those who attended Swarm Day at Duchesne, Friday were, Lois Terpening, Bessie Lusty, Gladys Capson, Bee Hive teachers; teach-ers; Nona Lee Holgate, Carol Larsen. Eleanor Capson, Marsha Mar-sha Lusty, Mrs. Melba Larsen and Linda Larsen. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gilbert and children visited Sunday in Duchesne with Mrs. Gilbert's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Porter Merrell. Visitors at Sacrament meeting Sunday night were, Mr. and Mrs. Gale Van Tassell, of Tab-iona; Tab-iona; Wanless Shields, of Bridge-land; Bridge-land; Mr. and Mrs. Milton Ricks, of Upalco. Mr. and Mrs. Gwen Bodily, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Ross and family, of Roosevelt, and Norman Nor-man Bodily, of Gusher, were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Ross on Sunday. Paul Solmonoson, of Myton, and Maxine Murphy, of Bridge-land, Bridge-land, were overnight guests on Wednesday of Donna and Lamar La-mar Ross. Lynn Ross attended the dedication dedi-cation of the new Farmers' Building in Salt Lake, Friday. The following enjoyed a party at Lake Borham: Fred Evans, Vaughn Keller, Linda Larsen, Lamar Ross and Clifton Larsen. A personal shower was given Saturday by Cleo and Gwen Holgate for Beverley Johnson, between 2 p.m. and 4. Many beautiful and useful gifts were received by the bride-to-be. |
