Show LAPOINT Mrs. Mable Jenkins Double Wedding Held Here May 9 Wedding bells were ringing in Lapoint May 9th, when a double wedding took place. Diane Parker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sike Thompson, became be-came the bride of Roscoe Justice, Jus-tice, son of Mr. and Mrs. Olie Justice; and Ollie Rae Justice daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Olie Justice, was married to Eugene Piefer, of Nebraska. Mrs. Dorothy Thompson visited visit-ed in Salt Lake City and received receiv-ed medical care, recently. Charlene Gagon met with an accident Tuesday evening at her home, when she fell from a tree breaking her left arm. Mrs. Ruby Steel and children, of Rangely, visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hayden Foster, Friday. Mrs. Pearl Preece and sons, Dennis and Larry, and daughter, Linda, of Craig, Colo.; Mr. and Mrs. Frank W. Jenkins and daughter, Illene, of Oak Creek, spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins, Jr., the occasion being their mother's birthday. Stanley Caldwell, of Ogden, is visiting his grandfather, Lawrence Law-rence Caldwell, and Mr. and Mrs. Lucky Luck and children. Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Justice and son, Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Justice and children, of Salt Lake City, visited here recently. Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Justice, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Wnnds and children, of Delta, spent Mother's Moth-er's day with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Olie Justice, and attended at-tended the wedding. Mrs. Orpha Kump and daughter, daugh-ter, Linda Mary Jean, accompanied accom-panied Mr. and Mrs. Bert Angus An-gus to Salt Lake City last Friday. Fri-day. Phyllis Miller, of Salt Lake City, came home Wednesday to visit Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Anderson An-derson and sister, Lela. She attended at-tended her sister's graduation Thursday evening at Union High. FIVE GRADUATE The students that graduated from high school at Union High were Lorna Searle, Doyle Hu-ber, Hu-ber, Dale Harrison, Keith Walker Walk-er and Lela Miller. Arcade Pearce, of Salt Lake City, was a guest of his aunt and uncle. |
