Show ROOSEVELT JUNIOR HIGH 7th Graderi Give Hobby Talki Talks on their hobbies. "Movie "Mo-vie Stars," and "Dolls." by collectors col-lectors Sonja Neilson and Kay Labrum were given to the various var-ious seventh grade English classes class-es Tuesday and Wednesday. The students giving the talks were from Mr. Johnson's home room class. Civics Class Hears Noxiinee For Office Bryant Stringham, of Vernal, gave an interesting and informative inform-ative talk to the combined civics classes of the Roosevelt Junior High School. Mr. Stringham urged urg-ed the students to have their : parents vote. 'He explained the differences between the two major, ma-jor, political parties, and spent several minutes answering students' stu-dents' Questions. . We plan to' have more talks of such nature in the neaf future. Inira-Mural Softball Games Girls intra-mural softball games began Monday. Oct. 13. Games are scheduled to be played play-ed every day this week at noon. ROOSEVELT ELEMENTARY We have a very interesting collection of bird nests. We collected col-lected nests during the UEA holiday. We have them on display dis-play now. It is fun to study them and learn which birds raised their families in them. . . We are interested in our collection col-lection of leaves which we gath. ered on our walk. Leaves have so many interesting shapes and colors.
