Show lOLiteiocks Verna Hoopes Whiterocks Joins In MIA Road Show Many from the Whiterocks Ward attended the road show held at Neola last Tuesday eve ning. It was a splendid performance perform-ance and the shows were weil worth the effort it took to get there. Mrs. Joyce Murray directed the Whiterocks performance. The following girls did the squaw dance: Ina Rae Elling-ford, Elling-ford, Maurine Wopsock, Carol Twitchell, Phyllis and Sharlene Quitchapoo, Betty M o o s m a n, Helen Murray and Edna Duchesne. Du-chesne. The following boys did a turkey dance which was very colorful; Clifford Duncan, Albert Al-bert Manning, Keith Ellingford, Floyd Wopsock, Almond Johnson John-son and Glen Appawoo. Mrs. Lela Anderton sang Indian In-dian Love Call. All were dessed in Indian costumes'. Mrs. Joyce Murray attended the farewell party for Bryce White at Ballard Saturday evening. eve-ning. Mr. and Mrs Clarence Murray attended a birthday party in honor of Neldon Nyberg at Roosevelt Saturday evening. Brent Birtcher, of Silt Lake City, spent the weekend visiting with Theron Robb. Mr. and Mrs. Gale Rasmussen 'spent a few Says in Salt Lake this week. Mrs. Cordelia Francis visited in Salt Lake last week. Mrs. Nora Christensen was taken to the hospital Saturday where they said she was the victim of a bleeding stomach ulcer. ul-cer. Paul Robb went down Sunday Sun-day to give her a blood transfusion. trans-fusion. Mrs. Madeena Smith cooked in her place Monday and Tuesday. All Primary children who had a birthday in September were honored last Tuesday at Primary. Pri-mary. Cake was served to all present. Evan Olsen and Mrs. Beulah Brighton and John Gilbert, all of Roosevelt, were speakers in Sacrament meeting Sunday. A ward officers meeting was held Sunday evening. Clifford Drollinger, of Roosevelt, member mem-ber of the stake presidency, was present. Stanley and J. O. Hoopes and Eldon Anderton took a load of cattle to Ogden Sunday. Seth Asay was a visitor at priesthood meeting Sunday. |
