Nye) TABIONA (Special) Flying sparks from the Fabrizio Sawmill Saw-mill sawdust fire destroyed near. . ly 6,000 bales of hay belonging to Art Fabrizio, plus chicken?, a pig, and numerous other item for a total of more than $10,000 damages. The dry weather, coupler! with a strong wind, carried ths sparks nearly an eighth of mile to 9tart the disasterous fire. Another fire was started about the same time near a barn full of hay belonging to the Fabri-zios, Fabri-zios, but it was extinguished before damage was done. A shortage of water for water wa-ter pumping hindered the first efforts to extinguish the fire. ' Volunteer workers removed 2000 bales of hay in eight minutes min-utes from the scene of the blaze. This hay belonged to Craig Wll cken and was stacked near the Fabrizio hay. Some fear was felt for the Hanna pump station of the Salt Lake Pipe Line Company which was only a quarter of a mile from the blazing inferno and pumping oil into the huge storage stor-age tank at the time. Although several homes, a cafe and mercantile store wet in the near vicinity of the fire, the blaze was contained within the area of sheds and hay stacks with the help of volunteers from Tabiona and Hanna. |
