Show Home Wedding Unites Couple In the presence of immediate members of the families. Mrs. John Bowen, sister of the bride was the matron of honor, and Bishop Glen Gilbert officiated in the marriage ceremony. cere-mony. A wedding supper was served to twenty guests following the ceremony. The newly weds left Sunday on a honeymoon trip to Wyoming. They will make their home in Roosevelt. Mrs. John Bowen, the former form-er Lorna Reed, came from Salt Lake Friday to be present at the wedding. Dinner ' guests Friday at the home of Mrs.- Bliss Lott, com plimentary to her sister, Mrs. R. H. Burdick, were Mrs. Gib-con Gib-con Baril, Mrs. O. A. Dart, and Mrs. W. R. Harris. I I Miss Nina Babcock arrived last week to spend a few months with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Babcock, before resum-i ing her studies at the U S A C at Logan. Miss Babcock has been visiting friends at Min-j neapolis, Minnesota, during the past two months. Mrs. Chris Goris and small son visited last week at the home of her. parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Smith, returning Friday to her home at Bingham. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Dean are rejoicing over the arrival of a baby daughter 'born Friday, Oct. 10, at the Roosevelt Hospital. Hos-pital. The little miss has a young brother who has been confined to the hospital but is now improving im-proving arid eagerly awaits the arrival of his baby sister, when mother and baby return this week to their home. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mer-, anda and their small, grandson, Dyke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Ste-phen Meranda, came from American Fork Saturday to attend at-tend to their property interests here and to visit friends. Mrs. Frank Bowden left last week for Vale Oregon, where she will visit her sister, Mrs. R. Osborn. Mr. and Mrs. Mqlvin Bunce, of Martinez. California, spent a few days visiting at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Harmon, Mrs. J. F. Wilson, Earl Fowler, and Mr. and Mrs. Emery Niel-son. Niel-son. They left Monday to return re-turn home. Mrs. Bunce is a sister sis-ter to Mrs. Wilson and Mr. Harmon. i Mrs. Orville Dart was a Salt Lake City visitor last week, returning re-turning Monday. Mrs. Olga Solomonson was called to Murray last week by the serious illness and death of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Meralda Johnson, wife of Joseph Johnson, John-son, who passed away Wednesday. Palmer, of Santa Monica, Mon-ica, is attending to property interests in-terests here, arriving last week for an indefinite stay. Linda Jenson, young daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Jenson.. was rushed to the Roosevelt Roos-evelt Hospital last Wednesday. She was able to be returned home Thursday and is now improving im-proving steadily. |
