Show "A" BOMB FLASH SEEN , The flash from the atomic bomb explosion in Nevada was seen on North Myton bench ac-' ac-' cording to Mr. and Mrs. Jack Nielson, who witnessed the event. Miss Alice Todd was a dinner guest Saturday evening at the Fred Ferron home in Roosevelt, enjoying a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Porter of Gunnison, Colorado, who were weekend guests at the Ferron home. Mrs. Ray Thompson left today, March 10, for Twin Falls, Idaho, to attend a circut assembly of Jehovah's witnesses to be held -there March 11, 12 and 13. She ! will meet with over 500 other ministers and witnesses of Jehovah Jehov-ah during a three-day rally. 'Mrs. Thompson will visit friends in Ogden and Pocatello during her trip. Mrs. L. Peterson who has been confined to the Roosevelt Hospital Hospit-al following a serious heart at-i.tack at-i.tack was sufficiently improved to : be brought home last week. She is now convalescing at her home under the care of her family. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Mott enjoyed en-joyed a weekend visit from their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Swisher and family of Salt Lake City. |
