Show 4 Ray Summers Takes Posfl Afl Roosevel? Hospital Official announcement was-1 made this morning by Hollis G. Hullinger, president of the Roosevelt Roose-velt stake, and chairman of the Roosevelt Hospital board which directs the institution owned by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, that effective April 1, Ray Summers will become associated as-sociated with the personnel of the hospital staff. According to Mr. Hullinger, the new hospital employee will assume as-sume the position of laboratory technician, bookkeeper and assistant assist-ant superintendent to J. Harold Eldredge, who will remain in his present capacity. No further details de-tails were released by the hospital board which met in executive session ses-sion Wednesday evening. For the past nearly two years Mr. Summers has been associated with the Ute Indian tribe at Fort Duchesne as recreation director, a position he will resign from to accept ac-cept the hospital asignment. Prior to coming to the Basin Mr. Summers Sum-mers was connected with the Salt Lake City police department, being asisgned to the narcotics division. His wife is a registered nurse, and both are very active in church and civic affairs. A former misisonary for the LDS church, Mr. Summers holds the office of a Seventy, and is a member of the Roosevelt stake Sunday School board. They have been living at Ft. Duchesne, but will move to Roosevelt as soon as a place can be acquired. |
