Show Ethel Beebe Wins Second Place Mr. and Mrs. Earl Dunsmore, Mrs. Clarence Jones, Clyde Lam-ert Lam-ert and Jesse Palm attended the American Legion Oratorical contest con-test in Vernal. Joe Kemp, Jr. of Mt. Home was selected to represent repre-sent Toyack Post, No. 53, and won second place. District No. 9 presented Joe with a beautiful trophy. Jesse Palm was one of the judges. Claude Murray and Glen Burgess Bur-gess were business .visitors in Myton recently. The boys and girls from Alto-nah Alto-nah who went to Salt Lake City February 24 to attend the musical concert were Bonnie Ann Ames, Cleo Clark, Rava Clark, Doris Alfred, Al-fred, Coralie Maxfield, Max Fisher, Fish-er, Dick Miller, Ronald Powell, Ernie Riley and Donald Kolb. Mrs. Ty Kolb also accompanied them. Mr. and - Mrs. George Fisher went to Tabiona February 25 for a load of lumber. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Johanson of Hagerman, Idaho visited their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Ames last week. |
