Show LeetonBenoeti Fern Houston Mrs. Nellie Horrocks sold her ' home to Marvin Hamaker, and is moving to Salt Lake. Her son, Byron will enter diesel school. The Hamakers will move into their new home in the near future. A welcome home party was given for Douglas Phillips who recently returned home from serving serv-ing a mission to Mexico. Games were played and refreshments were served., Douglas is now attending at-tending school, during the summer quarter, at the U of U. An AuRevoir party was. given as an appreciation party for Frances Bowen, by her neighbors and friends, at the home of Fern Houston. Seventeen ladies were in attendance and games were played play-ed with the prize going to Mrs. Alma Anderson of Roosevelt. A piece of luggage was presented to Frances. She was married to H. W. Wooley in the St. George Temple on June 16 and they plan on taking a short trip to Southern California and then they are going to Europe. Darrell Hall of Salt Lake was here over the weekend to attend the wedding of his sister, Mrs. Bob Goodrich. His small son had the misfortune of being dropped while being put on a horse and broke an arm. The Fish and Game Commission planted inch length fish in the j private ponds of those signing up with the C. P. A. Garr Bolton of Tremonton, spent the weekend at the home of his parents Mr. and Mrs. John Bolton. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Felter. who I have been attending school at Riverside, California spent the week visiting at the home of Roy f j Springer. ;- j Mr. and Mrs. Bob Goodrich, 5 who were married in the Salt Lake i Temple June 12 were honored at fr a dance and reception at the Bennett chapel, Saturday' evening. !' , A large crowd enjoyed a program, '! light refreshments and dancing. |
