Show DRIDGELARD Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee Joe Clayburn left Sunday for California to bring some government govern-ment trucks back. While he is absent from home, Mrs. Clay-burn's Clay-burn's brother, Leonard Taylor, is helping with the chores. Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee and daughter, Shelley, went to Salt Lake City Saturday to visit their children, Mr. and Mrs. Ron aid Lisonbee, Mr. and Mrs. Sherwood Sher-wood Lisonbee and Bertie Lisonbee. Lison-bee. They visited Mrs. Linson-bee's Linson-bee's mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Christensen, and Mr. and Mrs. Hosea Lsinobee. On their return trip they were accompanied by Bertie Lisonbee and Norma Rae Murphy, who spent Father's Day at their respective homes. Others from Salt Lake City who spent the weekend with their families were Carol Ann Brady, Mr. and' Mrs. Joe Walters, Robert Murphy and Joan Shep-hard. Shep-hard. Rulon Liddell and a friend, Gordon Gor-don Stewart, of Provo spent the weekend with Rulon's parents. The small children of Mr and Mrs. Carl Smith of Salt Lake City spent several days with thier grandparents, Mr and Mrs. Alma Smith, while their mother was in the hospital being treated for a skin infection. Mr. and Mrs. Austin Beal and son, Clarence, of Salt Lake City spent the weekend here on their farm putting up the hay. Mrs. Beal also helped out at the La Grand Gilbert home in Arcadia when Mrs. Gilbert came from the hospital hospi-tal with her new son. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Liddell and Mrs. Ethel Tayolr attended a Taylor reuninon at Lapoint on Sunday. Also in aatendance were the two grandsons of Mrs. Taylor. Tay-lor. Paul and Trent Rawlins of Craig, Colo. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Smith went to Park City Sunday to take their parents, Mr. and Mrs William Abplanalp to vist Mr. and Mrs. Albert Smith. Last week visitors at the Alma Smith home were Mr. and Mrs. Timothy of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Abplanalp of Utahn. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Smith were happy to receive news that their son, Howard, had been appointed second Counselor in the Tenth Ward In Orem. Mirl Jennings, Sr. was taken ill Saturday and rushed to the Roosevelt Hospital for treatment. Mrs. Reed Clayburn and Mrs. Vere Neilson were Monday visitors visi-tors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Percy Potts of Upalco. The two small daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Turner of Vernal are visitors of their little cousin, Loreen Stansfield. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Fitzgerald went to Salt Lake City Saturday to meet their little daughters, Patsy and El Doris, who have been visiting their sister and brotheT-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Danny Dan-ny Beeler at Mt. Home, Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Percy Potts of Upalco were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Reed Clayburn Sunday. |
