BIRTHDAY PARTY - The Sunshine Club held their birthday party at the home of Mrs. Pearl Wooley in honor of Mrs. Vera Caldwell and Mrs. Pearl Wooley. A program was given. Games were played and first prize was won by Pearl Perry and booby prize by Margie Lee. A plate lunch was served to 19 including in-cluding five visitors. Mrs. Pearl Preece and daughter, Linda and Mrs. Frances Lou Stubbs and sons, Brent and Brian frorh Craig, Colo were overnight guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins. Dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Workman of Myton Thursday Thurs-day evening were: Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins, of Lapoint, Mrs. Pearl Preece and daughter, Linda, Mrs. Frances Lou Stubbs and sons Brent and Brian from Craig. Colo. Nancy, Jane and Janet Workman Work-man from Myton spent from Thur. to Sunday with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins. Mrs. Ora Alplanalp from Vernal, Mrs. Thelma McKee from Tridell and Delia Wooley attended the birthday party for Mrs. Pearl Wooley Thursday. Phy'liss Miller and two girl friends from Salt Lake spent last weekend with phylis' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Anderson. JeNeal Harrison returned home from Las Vegas, Nevada. She accompanied her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Horrocks. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Ottosen and son from Hayward, Calif, are guests of Mrs. Ottosens' parents, Mr.' and Mrs.' Orville Swain and family. Rulon and Merrill Rasmussen and Leland Perry from Bland'ing spent the weekend with their families Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Horrocks and daughter, Mary Margaret came from Las Vegas, Nevada to attend the funeral services of Mr. Horrocks' mother, Mrs. Rosella Horrocks on Monday. Mammie Rasmussen, president of the Primary was released and Vee Taylor was sustained in her place. Mrs. Taylor chose the same counselors as Mrs. Rasmussen had serving with Tier, Lillie Biglow and June Wooley. Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Young, Mr. and Mrs Koy Young, Mr. ana Mrs. Eddie Van and children, Mr. and Mr. Ronald Young of Calif. Sonny' Van of Long Beach, Calif., serving in the Army, attended the funeral services of Chester Van on Wednesday. Mrs. Annie Warburton returned home from Tacoma, Wash, and Mrs. Vonda Bigelow and grandson, grand-son, Larry Johnson returned from Seattle, Washington. Joseph Horrocks received word that his brother William of Layton suffered a stroke a week ago and passed away. |
