Show THE STYLETTES Our meeting was held June 15. The time was spent sewing and discussing club problems. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served by Linda Bow-den Bow-den and Patsy Daybell. Karma Lee Mecham, Reporter h-h-h-h s ROOSEVELT HOMEMAKERS The Roosevetl Homemakers met Friday', June 8, at the home of Laura Ann Leavitt. Songs led by Linda Schmiett were sung with Ellen Anderton accompanyingi at the piano. The pledges were' repeated. Ann Murphy Mur-phy called the roll and read the minutes. Pam Harsmton, Linda Schmiett, and Ellen Anderton gave demonstrations demon-strations after which Laura Ann Leavitt gave the health lesson. Assignments were made for the coming meeting and a work period per-iod followed. At the end of the meeting refreshments re-freshments were served. Laura Leavitt, Reporter h-h-h-h HONEY BEES At the home of our leader Maude Anderson, our cllub held its eighth meeting. It started at 2:00 p.m. and was called to order by Barbara Larsen. Prayer was by Patsy Redman. Roll call and' minutes by Wilma Whitehead, secretary. Singing was led by our leader, Kany Anderson. Mrs (Anderson read a letter from Miss Reichert. Wilma Whitehead gave a de-monsration de-monsration on strong saams. Then we got busy on our projects proj-ects Lunch was served by Wilma Whitehead and Barbara ' Larsen. Closing prayer was led by Kay Anderson. The meeting was adjourned at 4:00 p.m. Our club is planning a swimming swim-ming party for next Friady, June 22. Barbara Larsen h-h-h-h HAPPY TIMERS ' NEOLA Ann Dye, president, called .the meeting to order and led us in the pledges. Ariene Ol-scn Ol-scn secretary read the minutes and called the roll. Jolene Olsen, song leader led us in some songs. Roberta Crozier, our teacher teach-er pave the health demonstra-ion demonstra-ion after which we worked on our project. We talked about the polishing of shoes.. Kathy Gardner Gard-ner and Veloy Wihiting served refreshments. We held the meeting' meet-ing' June 13 at the home of our teacher, Roberta Crozier. Karen Peterson, Reporter h-h-h-h THE MERRY SEWING QUEENS The Merry Sewing Queens club was held June 16 at the home of Carolyn Shepherd. Meeting was called to order by our president, Linda McArthur. Prayer was of fered by Carolyn Shepherd. The minutes were read by Ann Pitt, secretary. We sang several sorigs. We worked' on our skirts. Carolyn Caro-lyn Shepherd served as hostess. Our next meeting will be held June 23 at the home of Linda McArthur. Linda McArthur and and Shanna Johnstun will serve as hostesses. Reporters Carolyn Shepherd and Shanna Johnstun FRYING PAN FLAPPERS ARCADIA Our president took charge of the second meeting of the Frying Pan Flappers held at the home of our teacher, Mrs. Bessie Lusty. We were given our 4-H books. The meeting was held June 8. The third meeting of the Frying Fry-ing Pan Flappers was held at the home of Mrs. Bessie Lusty. Rosalie Rosa-lie Gilbert gave the health lesson. We made sandwiches and fruit milk drinks. This meeting was held June 13. Colleen Bell, Reporter h-h-h-h THE WARDROBE WITCHES The meeting was held at the home of Katy Jane Ashdown on June 13. On Friday, June 15, May Brod- erick said the club pledge, and Katy Jane Ashdown gave the opening prayers. We are having our next meeting at the home of Mrs. Swain on Wednesday, June 20.
