Show I Mrs. Elsie Bird i Eye Operation Performed In Salt Lake City Kent Jensen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jensen, underwent an operation on his eye at the St. Mark's Hospital on Friday morning. His father is staying (in Salt Lake Oity to be near Kent. We all wish him a very speedy recovery and a successful success-ful one. v Mr. Loril Carpenter of Salt Lake is staying at the Jensen place helping with the chores while Mr. Jensen is with Kent. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hensen were transacting business in Vernal Wednesday. GO TO TEMPLE Mrs. Marion S. Shields took her Sunday School class to' Salt Lake City Friday where they were baptized for the dead. Those who went were Eleanor Capson, Marsha Lusty, Linda Larsen and Richard Cap-son. Cap-son. Others who went were Gladys Ross, Lanny Ross, Rosemary Rose-mary Shields, Jennie Ross and Evan Lusty. Lynn Hansen took a load of sheep to Salt Lake Friday for Mr. Lynn Fairbanks. Mrs. Charlie Bird spent Thursday in Neola at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clair Duncan. Mrs. Rose Gilbert of Myton visited Sunday with relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Keller of Salt Lake City visited with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Keller on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird, Deon and Mildred Bird, Mr. and Mrs. Hale Holgate were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Emery Nielson in Myton, who entertained at a supper for their daughter and son-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Clar-ence Anderson, who were married mar-ried Aug. 28 at Golden, Colo. The new Mrs. Anderson will be remembered as Arlene Nielson. Niel-son. Charlie Bird attended priesthood priest-hood and sacrament meeting at Strawberry and Duchesne Sunday. Sun-day. Mrs. Loril Carpenter of Salt Lake arived Saturday to be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jensen foT the weekend. She returned home Monday. Mrs. Ora Holgate attended a shower in Iolca on Saturday for Mrs. Duane Richens. |
