Show Altamont High Plans Assembly The first assembly at Altamont Alta-mont is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 17. It is to be in the nature na-ture of a Talent Hour, with members of the student body expected to volunteer. Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Boswell have a new daughter, born Sept. 6. They plan to name her JoEllen. . Mr. and Mrs. Mellwood Wall returned Tuesday to their home in Altamont. They had with them their daughter and baby son. Mr. Wall has been working work-ing in Nevada for several months. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Hansen were in Payson last Tuesday evening visiting Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Mower and family and Miss Lois Sadler. Mr. and Mrs. Neil Titcomb were in Mt. Emmons last Saturday Sat-urday on business. They are living in Springville with Mrs. Titcombs parents while Mr. Titcomb is working in Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Powell entertained Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Ar-thur Powell and daughters, Beth and Linda, of Layton, and Miss Margie Ross, of Arcadia, over the weekend. Mrs. Evan Hansen and Edgar Thayne returned Saturday from a two weeks trip to Sargent, Nebraska. They stopped at sev-erl sev-erl places of interest and also visited relatives on the way. They rode through the Royal Gorge in Colorado in the famous fam-ous "Vista Dome" railroad coach. Mr. and Mrs. flyrum Smith entertained Mr. Smith's two' sisters last weekend. They were Mrs. Ida Green and Mrs. Leone Borrup, both of Salt Lake. Weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Hansen were Mr. and Mrs. S. L. Schaener and thre daughters daugh-ters of Salt Lake and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Hansen and six children chil-dren also of Salt Lake. |
