Show Please, Buy A taut LcicSy, Efelp 0 wiifs' Club Welfare Program Euwanis Members To Canvass City On Saturday Kids' Day, sponsored by Ki-wanis Ki-wanis International, will be celebrated in Roosevelt on Saturday, Sat-urday, Sept. 25, with a pet and hobby parade and show, free treats and a picture show, for all Kids in the area 12 years old and under. To prepare for Kids' Day and to build up their Child Welfare fund, Kiwanians of Roosevelt next Saturday morning, Sept. 18, will canvass the entire resi dential district selling donuts. According to Cliff Memmott, president, plans are all made under the direction of Floyd Peterson, for members of the club to call at homes in Roosevelt Roose-velt between the hours of 7 and 8 a.m. this Saturday, and again on Kids' Day, Sept. 25, to sell donuts by the dozen. They have ordered 260 dozen, and hope to greet the housewife early enough for her to feed the family fresh donuts for breakfast. Proceeds from the Donut Sale will go to help pay for the Elementary School ground paving job done recently. recent-ly.
