Show Announcing the arrival of an 8 lb. Wz oz. baby boy are the Theron Leavitts. The little fellow fel-low made entrance into the world Tuesday, Sept. 14th at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City. The proud parents are doubly elated as this is the first boy in the family, who will be anxiously greeted by his three sisters Laura Ann. Sandra and Kathy. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Orin. Gardner, of Hay-den Hay-den and Mr. and Mrs Leavitt of Las Vegas. Congratulations Congrat-ulations to all concerned. Mr. and Mrs. James Ernshaw and family and Mr. and Mrs. Ron Page were Labor Day visitors vis-itors at the home of Mrs. Pearl Swain. Mrs. Page remained for a week's visit, returning home Sunday with Ron, who came to get her. Visitors last weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Lester Swain and family of Ogden. Word was received by Mr. and Mrs. J. Harold Eldredge that their daughter, Eva. who is serving an LDS mission in Kitterly, Maine, had been in two eastern hurricanes,, but had escaped injury. Mrs. Elizabeth Lawson left last week for Long Beach, California, Cal-ifornia, to spend the winter with her daughter, Mrs. George Yack and family. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sathers and sons returned home recently recent-ly from a trip East, where they took their boys through Mayo Clinic. Results indicated that both boys were in perfect health. Salt Lake City visitors Wednesday Wed-nesday were Mr. and Mrs. Ben-nie Ben-nie Schmiett. Recent viistors in Smithfield were Dr. and Mrs. R. V. Larsen. They attended a funeral for which Dr. Larson was one of the speakers. Visitors at the Orvil Rudy home last weekend were Mrs. Rudy's parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. A. Burningham, of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Harm-ston Harm-ston and family left recently to make their home in Moab, where Mr. Harmston is employed employ-ed as a construction contractor. Mrs. Crystal Broderick and daughter. Dawn, drove to Provo Wednesday to find a place for Dawn to stay while attending the BYU this fall. Mrs. J. Harold Eldredge's twin sister,-Mrs. Moroni Richens and her husband, of Ogden, were recent vihitors at the Eldredge El-dredge home. Dr. and Mrs. J. P. Alsberg, of Acton, Calif., arrived Wednesday Wed-nesday to visit friends in Roosevelt Roos-evelt and Fort Duchesne. They are guests at the residence of Dr. and Mrs. Paul Stringham. Mrs. Rulon Anderton and new baby daughter arrived home from the hospital Monday night, both feeling fine. The little Miss weighed 8 lbs., but still doesn't have a name seems her brothers and sisters can't agree nevertheless they are thrilled to welcome her home. Congratulations, Ander-tons! Ander-tons! Mrs. Howard . Harrison is spending a few days in Ogden with her sister, Mrs. C. W. Hart-man, Hart-man, and family. Stanley and Roy Hall took their father. Bob Hall, to Salt Lake City, Tuesday, where he vill re.-eive medical treatment in the LDS Hospital. Mrs. Hall also accompanied him. Houseguests last weekend of Mr. and Mrs. Anthon Christen-sen Christen-sen were Mr. Christensen's brother and sister-in-law and daughter, Lonnie, of Elko, Nev. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Ray Summers, who are the proud parents of a new baby daughter, born Sept. 9 in the Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City. She has one brother and a sister, David and Shannon. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Howells left for their home in Salt Lake Sunday after visiting at the home of Mr. Howells' aunt, Mrs. Myrtle Lambert, for several days. Guests at the Grant Killian home last Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Ryan and daughter, Kathy. and Garl Allred. all of Salt Lake City. Mr. Ryan was formerly employed by Ashtons. Billy McLea returned home Sunday from Glendale, Calif., and will visit a week with his parents, the J. V. McLeas, before be-fore leaving to attend school at the USAC in Logan. Mrs. J. Harold Eldredge and daughter, Renae, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Burr Eldredge, were Provo visitors Saturday. They were making preliminary arrangements for Renae to attend at-tend the BYU. |
