Show LAP01NT Mrs. Mable Jenkins DUP Entertained By Mrs. Winn The Daughters of Pioneers held their monthly meeting on Thursday, June 18, at the home of Mrs. Golden Winn, with Captain Mae Sprouse conduct-' I ing. Songs sung were. "Come, ' I Come Ye Saints," "When They i Are Gone, and "Do Not Forget Them." The lesson was given by Mildred Mowrey and a plate lunch was served to eleven guests. Mrs. Ruby Foster and children, chil-dren, of Rangely, Colorado, spent Father's Day with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hayden Foster. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hedingrin and children, of Vancouver, Wash., are spending a week with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Lee. Mrs. Hedengrin and Mrs. Lee are sisters. Mr. and Mrs. Golden Winn and Mrs. Mae Sprouse went to Price, Wednesday, where Mrs. Winn and Mrs. Sprouse attended attend-ed a post masters' convention. Mrs. Francis Lou Stubbs and son. Brent. Frank Jenkins Sr and Dean Subbs visited Mr. and Mrs. Earl Jenkins and family. Tuesday and Wednesday at Price. Mrs. Pearl Woolley returned home Friday evening from Provo, where she has been visiting vis-iting with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Angus and children, of Roosevelt, visited Mrs. Angus' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Adrin Kump. Marilyn Pillebury. of Salt Lake City, visited her mother, Helen Pillebury, and brother, David, last week. Donna Elmer went to Salt Lake City to visit her husband. who is in the Veterans' Hospital. Hospit-al. Mr. and Mrs. Garth Powell and son, of Ogden, are visiting with Mrs. Powell's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Bodily. Lorin Bodily returned home with them. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Lee, of Artesia, Colo., spent last Sunday Sun-day with Mr. Lee's mother, Rhoda Ann Lee. The occasion was Mrs Lee's birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey went to Glenwood Springs to get Chas Taylor, Sr., who had been there for two weeks taking treatments treat-ments at the Springs. . Mac McNickle returned home after srjendino- th Englewood, Colo. Mrs. Joyce Long has moved from the home of Art Taylor's south of town, and is making her home with her hsuband's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Winfred Long, of Bennett. Mrs Long received a telephone call Sunday, Sun-day, from her husband, Norman, telling that he had arrived in the States from Japan. Dol Ykom, of Baggs. Wyo'., is home visiting with his friends. Mr. Yukom spent the winter with his sister. |
