Show Gusher Stella Underwood With Reserves Neal Domgaard made a trip to Salt Lake to sign up with the Reserves on Wednesday of last week. Merioh Hackford accompanied ac-companied him as far as Salt Lake. He is returning to his base in San Diego, Calif., after a leave home. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Giggey were hosts to the ward M.I.A. last Tuesday night. Lunch was served and games played. A large crowd was in attendance. Mrs. Gladys Creviston became seriously ill on Friday of last week and was taken to the Roosevelt Hospital. She was able to return home on Saturday. Satur-day. Eph Eskelson and sons, Howard, How-ard, Don and Dave, have gone to the mountains to work in the timber. , Gene Simmons, of Roosevelt, visited two days last week with his aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Simmons. ' Mrs. Bettie Giggey and children chil-dren visited 'relatives in Roosevelt Roose-velt on Saturday. Rev. and Mrs. Westfall, evangelists evan-gelists of Indiana, conducted services on Tuesday of last week, and gave some excellent musical numbers Services were at the Baptist church. Mrs. Thessa Eaton, of Vernal, spent a couple of days last week visiting her mother, Mrs. Sylvia Syl-via Allred. Mrs. Helen Macfarland. of I Roosevelt, spent Tuesday visit- 1 ing in Gusher. Ted Phillips is building a new home on the property he recently purchased. Mrs. Dave Clark has been on the sick list the past week, but is improved at, this writing. i Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Zufelt and children, of Hancock Cove, spent one day last week visiting visit-ing at the Domgaard home. The boys took their uncle,, Guy, for a fishing trip as a Father's Day 1 outing. Those visiting at the Nick Pappas home last week were Mrs. Pappas' mother, Mrs. James Daskalas; a sister, Mrs Anna Athanas and children, and John Zekis, all of Salt Lake. |
