Show Mrs. Elsie Bird Max Mullins Goes Overseas Mr. and Mrs. Max Mullins and son, Kenneth, arrived Saturday Sat-urday from San Diego, Calif. Mrs Mullins and Naomi took Max to Salt Lake City, Saturday Satur-day to return to San Diego, where he will go from there to Korea. Mrs. Mullins will stay with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas M. Gilbert, until Max returns. Mr. and Mrs. Hale Holgate made a trip to Salt Lake City and around through Wyoming to Daggett County, Utah during the week. June Robbins, Gwenita Curry, of Roosevelt, Lou Ann Morrill, of Tridell, were overnight guests of Donna Ross. They all left Sunday morning with Sheila Shei-la Evans and her father, William Wil-liam Evans, of Mt. Emmons, to attend Girls' State at Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hansen and children spent Father's Day In Mt. Emmons. Mr. and Mrs. S. O. Solmon-son, Solmon-son, of Roosevelt; Mrs. Clair Duncan and children, of Neola, spent Father's Day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charley Bird. Mrs. Ida Horrocks attended the post masters' convention at Price last week. Mrs. Cynthia Massey and granddaughter, Elynn, of Vernal, Ver-nal, Brent and Karen Ross, of Roosevelt; Mr. and Mrs. Ben Hayden and daughter, Ramona, ol Pocatello, Idaho; Lyle Massey Mas-sey and Bud Odle, of Salt Lake City were recent visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Ross. . ... Mr. and Mrs. Art Peck, of Poulsbo, Washington, and their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Gabe Howe, and san, Loryn, of Bremmerton, Wash., Mr. Ervin Sagers, of Tooele, visited over the weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin G. Shields. Mrs. Peck and Mr. Sagers are Mrs. Shields sister and brother. Mr. and Mrs. Evan Workman and three daughters, of Richland, Rich-land, Washington, and Mrs. Elsie El-sie Dean Workman, of Vernal, visited Tuesday with Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Horrocks. Mrs. Workman is Mrs. Horrocks' mother and Evan is her brother. Mrs. Emery Nielson left Friday Fri-day for Salt Lake City, where she "underwent a serious operation oper-ation on her hip. ' |
