Show 4-H Club Meets The 4-H groups met at Max Hartman's home on Thursday, June 18. Mrs. Alvin Denver and Mrs. Glendon Hanberg, leaders of the girls' group, met with them. Mr. Hartman showed movies to the group at the church house, then they returned return-ed to the Hartman's for refreshments. re-freshments. Those present were: Cherry Wall, Shirlie McConkie, Kreen Hartman, Sherry Hart-man, Hart-man, Katherine Hartman, Flora Denver, Roberta Denver, Karen Hansen,, Mary Ann Reay Linda Mohlman, Melba Rust, Peggy Hansen, Chad Hansen and Steve Evans. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Hansen and family attended the Mea-love Mea-love family reunion at Saratoga Resort on Sunday, June 21. Mrs. Wm. Bond was in Mt. Emmonts overnight an Saturday, Satur-day, then accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Vern Titcomb to Salt Lake City. Mr. Titcomb underwent emergency medical attention, because of complications. Mr. and Mrs. Glendon Hanberg Han-berg have moved into Bill Jes-sen's Jes-sen's home in Altamont. ATTEND CONVENTION Primary convention was held in Duchesne, with Mrs. Lowry and Mrs. Whipple from the General Gen-eral Board in attendance. Primary Pri-mary workers from Mt. Emmons Em-mons ward who attended were: Mrs. David Gailey, Mrs. Johnny Lambert, Mrs. Less Orr, Mrs. Lyrad McConkie, Mrs. Anthon Rust, Mrs. Max Hartman, Mrs. Morris Monson, Mrs. Dwayne Harper. Bishop Bovee Mecham attended the morning session. VARIETY CLUB The Mt. Emmons Variety club met at the home of Mrs. Lyrad McConkie on Monday, June 22. The following members were present: Mrs. Anthon Rust, Mrs. LaVere Timothy, Mrs. Ned Mitchell, Mrs. Johnny Lambert. Mrs. Grant Hansen, Mrs. Ross Berrett, Mrs. David Gailey, Mrs. Max Hartman and Mrs. Ken LaRose. Melba Rust has spent the past week at the home of her grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. arid Mrs. LeGrande Mecham in Mt. Home. Denny and Jane Lambert visited vis-ited their grandmother, Mrs. Myrtle Lambert for a few days last week in Roosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Thacker and Mr. and Mrs. Kirk Merk-eley Merk-eley left Tuesday to visit Mr. and Mrs. Jim Thacker and Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Thacker. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Young entertained en-tertained out of town relatives on Wednesday of last week. They were Mrs. Ethel Janert, of San Francisco, Calif.; Mrs. LeRoy Le-Roy Goodrich, of Roosevelt; Mrs. Axel Anderson and Mr Ashel Bingham, of Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Ken LaRose were at Moon Lake on Sunday with other members of the La-Rose La-Rose family for a Father's Day outing. Mr. and Mrs. Less Orr attended at-tended the annual state post masters' convention in Price last week. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Case and Peggy motored to Canyon Glen in Provo Canyon last Sunday, where they met with other members of their family for a Father's Day outing. Gayle Case returned home with them after having spent 2 weeks with Mr. and Mrs Myron Madsen. Her two neices, Maxine and Myra, came with her for a visit. |
