Show Mrs. Violet Gentry Mrs. Bertha Angus THURSDAY CLUB Mrs. W. G. Gentry entertained entertain-ed the members of the Thursday Club at her home, June 18th. Those present were: Mattie Mortensen, Gladys Dart, Edith Gentry, Olive Sorensen. Special guests of the club were Mrs ' George Suchey, of Denver, Colo. Mrs. Nels Sorensen and Mrs. Binning Goold, of Monroe. Paul Ward, of Berthered, Colorado', Col-orado', is visiting his grandparents, grandpar-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Senor Mortensen. Mor-tensen. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Foote and Mrs. Howard Jones made a trip to Provo, Monday, returning the same day. Mrs. Robert Marchant left last week for Emery, where she will visit with her daughter, Mrs. Lydia Sorensen, for some time. Mr. and Mrs. Senor Morten-sen Morten-sen entertained the folowing guests at a luncheon, Thursday: Mr and Mrs. Binning Goold, Mr. and Mrs. Nels Sorensen, of Monroe; Mon-roe; Mrs. Olive Sorensen, Mr. and Mrs. Med Benson, of Ioka, and J. W. Jenson, of Myton. Mrs. Glen Sorensen, of Myton, My-ton, announce the birth of a son at the Roosevelt Hospital, June 15th. Glen is the son of Mrs. Olive Sorensen, of Ioka. Bert Brice, of Kennewick, Washington, was the weekend guest of his sister, Mrs. Tom Gentry. Nine little friends of Jimmy Neilson met at his home. Thursday Thurs-day night to help him celebrate his 7th birthday anniversary. They played games and roasted weiners. Dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Med Benson Thursday night were Mr. and Mrs. Nels Sorensen, Soren-sen, Mr. and Mrs. Goold, of Monroe, Mrs. Olive Sorensen, Mr. and Mrs. Senor Mortensen, and J. W. Jenson. Mr. and Mrs. James Zobell went to Provo Saturady to visit Mr. Zobell's father, Ward Zobell, Zo-bell, who is very sick. Mr and Mrs. Garn Lloyd and son of Murry and Mr. and Mrs. DeVer Dennis and son of Stockton, Stock-ton, California were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Alto Lloyd Sunday. Sun-day. Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Lloyd and family enjoyed an outing and fishing trip Saturday- and Sunday. Ioka Primary had 100 attendance at-tendance of officers and teachers teach-ers at the two-stake convention in Roosevelt, Friday. Zelma Lloyd went to Salt Lake City, Monday to receive medical treatment. |
