Merrell. bishop of the Duchesne Ward performing perform-ing the ceremony. Mellwood is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. JsePji Wal1, The bride's parents are Mr. and Mrs. John Taylor. The newlyweds were honored at a family gathering and wedding wed-ding supper the following evening eve-ning at the home of the groom s sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Ames. In addition to the honored guests and the hosts, covers were laid for Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Wall, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Wall, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Ames, Leonard Ames, Mrs. Al-lie Al-lie Brown and Elmo Taylor. A baby girl was born Satur day, March 29, at the Roosevelt Hospital to Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Law-rence Young. The infant is the couple's first child. ATTEND CONVENTION Ross Berrett, instructor in Agriculture Ag-riculture at Altamont, took his ag boys to the annual Utah FFA Convention, which was held last week at the Newhouse Hotel in Salt Lake City. Lois Sadler, the local FFA Sweetheart, Sweet-heart, accompanied Mr. Berrett to Salt Lake to participate in the FFA ball and sweetheart banquet. A beautiful compact was presented to each competing sweetheart. |
