Show Stella Underwood rlerchant Wing Sent To Hospital Our merchant of Ft. Duchesne, Du-chesne, Wing Wong, has been quite ill and confined to the Vernal Hospital with a heart ailment. Mrs. Robina Ferguson spent last week visiting her sons, Leonard and family at Heber, and William and family at Pro.-vo. Pro.-vo. There was no school Thursday and Friday of last week. It was spring vacation. Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Dom-gaard Dom-gaard and Mrs. Guy Underwood Under-wood were in Vernal on business busi-ness Friday of last week. Joe Arnold, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Arnold, missed two days of school last week on account ac-count of illness. The Castle Peak mine and other mines in that vicinity were shut down last week by muddy roads. It was impossible to get to them. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Phillips and sons, of Roosevelt, were Thursday visitors at the Bud Markey home. Eleanor Hackford, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Hackford, u spending a few days with her parents. She has employment in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Ross, of Vernal, visited their son. Carl, and family on Friday evening. |
