Show smmMM Pleasant Valley April 3, 1952 Dear Editor; I read in the last paper a letter let-ter written by Ellen Dean regarding re-garding the good service of our RFD mail carrier, Giles Wood. Not only has he been coming through the snow and mud on his tractor to deliver our mail, but there was one week when the roads were nothing but .drifts three feet high. We certainly cer-tainly didn't expect our ma;l :to; be delivered to us under those conditions, but each day Giles would walk the distance of a half mile and carry not only letters but packages and papers to' us. I say "hat's off to Mr. Woods, . and thanks for a service well rendered." Mrs. Betty Hancock |
