Show 9oka Mrs. Violet Gentry JrrjjBerthgAngus Mrs. Charles Percival spent three days last weekend at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Du-ane Du-ane Bracken, in Roosevelt, where she acted as baby tender while the Brackens attended the L D S conference in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Bracken had the opportunity of meeting and visiting with, the president of the mission where her sister, Florence, is laboring. Mrs. Olive Sorenson returned Sunday from Salt Lake where she had attended funeral services ser-vices for her nephew, Allen Un-igate. Un-igate. She was accompanied by her sons. Dean and A. V. Sorenson, Soren-son, and by her daughter, Mrs James Larsen, of Arcadia. Dean Reay, of Altonah, visited vis-ited Thursday at the home of his brother, Tuff Reay. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Fausett, of " Myton, were Sunday visitors vis-itors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Fausett. Mr. and Mrs. W. Gentry entertained en-tertained at a family dinner Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Devon Gentry and daughter, LaVene, of Myton, and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Gentry and children were ; guests. Mr. . and Mrs. George Wedig, of Myton, called at the Lloyd Jenson home last week. Virgil Ferguson came in from Tooele to spend the weekend with his family. He has employment employ-ment there. Miss Dean Lloyd was an overnight over-night guest, Tuesday, of her sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Clayton Webb. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Percival and. Mrs. .Bertha Angus were Roosevelt visitors Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Lemon spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lemon. Elmer is home on a short furlough. 'Mrs. O. A. Dart attended the Ladies' Aid meeting Thursday at the home of Mrs. Fred Todd in Myton. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Richins and son, - Duane, spent Sunday with Mr.' and Mrs. Virgie Me-cham Me-cham of Hancock Cove. John Asa Webb and James Cook, of Bluebell, visited in Ioka Monday. Dr. "and Mrs. L. G. Benson and ' daughter; Denise, of Cedar City, visited Sunday with Dr. Benson's parents. Cherel Drollinger and Jolene Robison were Salt Lake City visitors several days last week. Mr. and - Mrs. Robert Mar-chants Mar-chants visited Sunday afternoon with ' Mrs. John Angus and listened lis-tened to conference over the radio. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Remund and daughter. Connie Lee, of Duchesne, called on Mrs. Re-mund's Re-mund's mother Friday, after shopping-in Roosevelt. Dr. and Mrs. Kenneth Benson Ben-son and three children, of Davenport, Dav-enport, - Iowa, arrived Sunday to visit with the Archie Bensons Marie Benson, who has spent the last month in Murray while taking treatments, returned home Sunday. She is feeling much better. Mr. and Mrs. Max McDonald and daughter, Shelia, of Roosevelt, Roos-evelt, and M.r. and Mrs. Whipple Whip-ple and two daughters, of Hancock Han-cock Cove, were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Nelson. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Lloyd went to Mt. Emmons Sunday to visil with his mother, Mrs. Wm. Lloyd, and with his sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Crosby. Clifford Drollinger was a business busi-ness visitor in Salt Lake City last week. Among those who attended L D S conference in Salt Lake last weekend were Bishop and Mrs. James Lemon, Roena Lemon, Lem-on, J. Reed Lemon, Dorothy Stone, Mrs. Etta Webb and son, Arnold, and Myrtle Faucett. Clarence Jones spent the weekend here with his family. Clarence is working in Denver and will move his family there as soon as he can locate housing. Mrs. Zelma Lloyd attended a Sunday School meeting in Duchesne Du-chesne Tuesday. |
