Show State Officers Pay Uisit To Local BPW Club Mrs. S. M. Grua, state president presi-dent of the Business and Pro-j Pro-j fessional Women's Club, and guest speaker at a meeting of the local BPW Club last Thurs-' Thurs-' day night at ttie Frontier Grill, , discussed with the group the . state BPW convention, which I will be held in June, and the ! national convention, scheduled i sometime in July in Boston. I Other state guests in atten- dance were Mrs. Winifred Hewlett, Hew-lett, Salt Lake City, state cor-i cor-i responding secretary, and Mrs. j , Helen Astel, Vernal, state recording re-cording secretary. Tables were attractive with a spring theme predominating in the daffodils, white daisies and candytuft. Tall yellow tapers tap-ers were at either end. With Mrs. Lon Logan, presi-j presi-j dent, taking charge, election of officers was postponed until 1 Monday, May 5, when Mrs. J. V. McLea will make arrangements arrange-ments for the meeting. Plans for the Senior Girls' tea will also be announced. A guest vocalist of the club last Thursday was Mrs. Garth Gardner, who was accompanied accompan-ied by Mrs. Bennie Schmiett. Co-hostesses for the evening were Mrs. Howard Harrison and Mrs. Theron Leavitt. |
