Show County Claims Drop For 3-Month Period Bounty claims presented to the Duchesne County Predatory Animal Control Board during the first three months of 1952 amounted to only $36.00. Claimants were James I. Bird, for one bobcat, taken near Bluebell; Blue-bell; Marion Bird, for one bobcat, bob-cat, taken near Bluebell: Lloyd Remund, for two coyotes, taken near Duchesne; Weston Despain, for one coyote taken on Dead Man Flat near Tabiona; Her-' bert Mecham for one bobcat, taken near the Strawberry Bridge. Bounty payments are $6.00 each on bobcats and coyotes. By comparison, during January, Jan-uary, February and March. 1951, $426.00 was allowed for bounty boun-ty claims. This amount covered claims for nine coyotes and sixty-two bobcats. During 1951, three of the coyotes were taken in January and six in February; 13 bobcats were bountied in January, 35 in February and 14 in March.
