Show ! Ground Broken For I7ax Plant; To Use Basin Oils Ground breaking ceremonies were held the latter part of last week north of Salt Lake City for the two million dollar chemical wax refining plant which will be built by the Sure-Seal Sure-Seal Corp. and construction has gotten underway, according to M. E. Wallis, president of Sure-Seal. Sure-Seal. In charge of construction as superintendent will be Gilbert A. Woods, former vice-president of Tears Engineers, of Dallas, Texas, who arrived in Salt Lake last week to assume command. The new Sure-Seal plant will consist of three units. In addition addi-tion to' the M E K (methyl-ethyl-ketone) or de-oiling unit, the installation also will include a topping and vacuum distillation unit and a clay perculation unit.
