Show Mrs. Fern Houston Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Horrocks Hor-rocks attended the wedding of Murray Harrison, Wednesday evening at the home of Jerry Harrison at Lapoint. Mr and Mrs. Vaughn Simper have moved into the home formerly for-merly owned by Wilma Bingham Bing-ham They have purchased the farm and were at church Sunday. Sun-day. We welcome them into our ward , r Mr and Mrs. Dale Nelson of Vernal spent the weekend at the Carl Hall home. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Harmston have returned from a visit with the Dillman relatives in Iowa. They returned with a new Pon-tiac. Pon-tiac. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hartle have been visiting with the family of Carl Hall, before leaving for Salt Lake where they will make their home. Mrs. Irene Redford and children, child-ren, of California, and Mrs. Lynn Labrum and children and their mother, Mrs. J. J. Miller, of Springville visited at the Win-fred Win-fred Long home Friday. Kenneth Long returned from Roseville, California where he visited a month with his sister, Glenace Palmer. While there he attended the State Fair at Sacramento. A . costume birthday party was given for Frank Houston Saturday at the home of George Houston. There were many interesting in-teresting games played and a delicious lunch was served to 35 children and parents. Dr. Paul Stringham and Bill Col-tharp Col-tharp took some movie pictures in color of the children in costume. cos-tume. Frank was showered with many lovely gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Hamaker of Spanish Fork and LaVerne Hamaker of Springville were here over Sunday at the home of Marvin Hamaker. Mr. and Mrs. Winfred Long and family went to Duchesne Sunday to have dinner at the home of Norman Long, who is teaching school at the Duchesne High school. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Lindley of Provo spent the weekend with her parents the J. A. H. Plouston's. Word has been received from Mrs. Jennie Wing that the operation oper-ation she underwent last week was a success and she is feeling much better, but will not be home for some time.
