Show Violet Gentry Bertha Angus HOSTESS TO CLUB Mrs. Lucy Edwards was hostess to her club, Thursday, Jan. 19th. The afternoon was spent sewing and visiting. Guests included Mrs. Gladys Dart, Mrs, Olive Sorensen, Mrs. Edith Gentry, Mrs. Mattie Mortensen, Mrs. Sarah Brokaw, and Mrs. Bernice Haueter. Ioka visitors' at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Mecham of Hancock Han-cock Cove last week were Mrs. Emil Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Lemon and Bishop and Mrs. James Lemon. James Lloyd was a business visitor in Neola Thursday, Randy Fausett of Roosevelt was an overnight guest of his grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Fausett. Linda, Susan and Ann Sorensen of Roosevelt, spent Friday with their grandmother, Mrs. Olive Sorensen. Mr. and Mrs, George Davis of Salt Lake visited Mrs. Davis' parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. X B. Lemon, at the home of her brother and family, Bishop and Mrs, James Lemon, Evan Percival attended the GOP Hundre.d Dollar Plate dinner at Salt Lake City last Fridayv Mr. and Mrs, James Lloyd visited vis-ited their sister, Mrs. Crosby of Mt. Emmons, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Garret Stone, who are spending the winter in Salt Lake City, were here for the weekend. They attended meetings Sunday. Clair Winterton returned Saturday' Satur-day' from a trip to Denver, where he took a load of cattle for -a!e. Mr. and Mrs, Wayne Russon of Roosevelt visited' Sunday with with Mrs. Russon's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lemon. Mr. and Mrs, Ben Webb and family of Sandy visited Saturday and Sunday with the Edmund Webbs. , , Mr. and Mrs. Otto Lloyd went to Duchesne Saturday to see Mrs. Etta Crosby of Mt. Emmons, who is very ill in the Duchesne Health Center, Mrs. Crosby is a sister of James and Otto Lolyd. Zelma Lloyd spent the night with her. Lemon and Counselors Garrett Stone and Russell Rus-sell Robison, Gladys Drollinger was sustained as Social Science leader in Relief Society and two girls, Eda Bee Percival arid Beatrice' Bea-trice' Allred graduated from Primary, Pri-mary, having filled all requirements require-ments to graduate. |
