CRUNCHY COOKIES (Makes 75 to 100 cookies.) y2 CUPS white sugar iy2 cups brown sugar 1 CUPS shortening 3 eggs 3 cups flour iy2 tsp. soda tsp-. baking powder 34 tsp, salt 3 Cups fine oatmeal l'2 cups' coconut 3 cups rice crispies iy2 tsp. vanilla Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs beaten with 1 tsp. of water. '. Sift flour, soda, baking powder and salt into mixture. Add vanilla. Lastly add oatmeal, coconut and rice crispies, , . . Form into balls, size of a walnut wal-nut and flatten with hand on un.-greased un.-greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 deg. for 10 minutes'. |
