Show 171IITEQ0CKS Madeena Smith Busses Are Late The Lester Bartlett bus was a half hour late Tuesday due' to the storm and mud and the Don Simmons Sim-mons bus was stuck in the mud on the Smith dugway near Roosevelt Roose-velt that same day, making the children late getting home at night. It was necessary' to call for the' wench truck from Vernal to get the Simmons bus out. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Twitchell visited the Joe Montes and Terry Golding families and Carol Twitchell Twitch-ell in Ogden, Thursday and Friday. The George' Walkup and Virgil Robb families were dinner guests of the Ray Dillmans at Roosevelt Monday. Mrs. Elsie Twitchell received word Tuesday of a new granddaughter grand-daughter born Saturday to the Terry Goldings of Ogden. Mrs. Ruth Murray visited ovbt night with her mother, Mrs. Barbara Bar-bara Nyberg, Monday. The Grant Johnson family visited vis-ited in Vernal Monday. The Loren Pike family is preparing pre-paring to leave Friday for Ohio, where Mr. Pike will attend a telephone tele-phone school for eight weeks, Mrs. Verna Hoops is home with her children for a few days. She has been in Salt Lake two weeks with her husband, who is there under doctors' care. She' will return re-turn to Salt Lake some time this week. Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Robb took a load of mine props to Price, Saturday, returning the same day. Mrs. Norwood Hardy was a Vernal Ver-nal visitor Friday. Mrs. Elizabeth Morrill of Tri-dell Tri-dell and three' grandchildren visited vis-ited the Norwood Hardys Sunday. Those attending leadership meeting meet-ing in Roosevelt Wednesday were Mildred and David Moosman, El-don El-don And'erton, Edith and Betty Oberhansly, Paul and Vail Robb, Mr. and Mrs. Don Simmons, Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Smith and Ina Ellingford. The Clarence Murray family and Stanley Hoops family attended the' funeral of Mrs. Fern NybeTg in Lapoint Friday. The Francis Crozier family of Neola visited the Don Simmons family Sunday. Mrs. Lila Wilson is in charge of the cafe, while the Leo Prit-chets Prit-chets are in Ogden, Mrs. Pritchett is there' under a doctor's1 care. The Clarence Murray family were dinner guests at the George Walkup home Saturday. Speakers , at meeting Sunday we're Mr. and Mrs, Wiley Collet, our new Indian missionaries.
