Show j BIRTHDAY HONORED I Mrs. Thurman Peterson entertained enter-tained last Wednesday at her home, honoring Mrs. Addie Peterson, Peter-son, whose' birthday occured on that date. A short program was presented, after which light refreshments re-freshments were served to the many friends who had gathered to pay tribute to Mrs- Peterson's eighty years of activity and service ser-vice to others. Neill Jensen made a trip to Lincoln, Nebraska, the fore part of last week, returning with a new Ford car. Mrs. Clyde Hacking returned home last Saturday after spending spend-ing the past two weeks in Ogden with her sister. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Horrocks of Salt Lake City visited at the Theron Horrocks home last Saturday. Sat-urday. Sunday guests at the Pat Duncan Dun-can home' were Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Ray-mond Ellis of Duchesne. TWO NEW CITIZENS The Stork, which has been hovering over our community for some time, visited tw homes during dur-ing the past week. A new son arrived, at the John Larsem resi- dence, via Roosevlt Hospital. He is welcomed by two brothers and two sisters'. Making headline news was the debut of a baby girl, who was born to Mr, and Mrs. Tal Wardle last Tuesday. Clamoring for the privilege of babysitting will be four brothers. Mrs. Ferris Henrie was employed employ-ed at the Roosevelt Hospital for several days last week. Dinner guests at. the Clifford Bastian home last Sturday were Mr. and Mrs. Ne-d Coltharp, Mr. and Mrs. Don Feldstead, Whit Levanger and Bill Morgan. Mr. and Mrs. Neill Jensen were Salt Lake City visitors last Saturday, Sat-urday, GAIN HONORS Honor was bestowed upon Ken Bastian recently' when he was selected as a member of the All-State All-State football team by the Des-eret Des-eret News-Telegram.' He was also on the regional All-Star foothall. team. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Batsian. |
