Show PRIMARY CLASS HAS SWIMMING PARTY Mrs. Ole Rasmussen with Carol and Joe, her two children, took the following boys of the Guide Patrol class in Primary on a swimming party: Jerry Gines, Merrill Mer-rill Rasmussen, Elvin and Douglas Doug-las Kettle and Max Rasmussen. They went to Dye's resort last Tuesday. Barbecued hamburgers, cookies and punch were enjoyed for refreshments. The party was in honor of Douglas Kettle who is leaving soon. Before leaving for the L.D.S. Mission Home Mrs. Martha Edwards Ed-wards entertained the Special Interest, In-terest, group in the M.I.A. with slides of her recent triy to Europe. Mrs. Ora Campbell, of Kaysville and her daughter, Mrs. Ivan Campbell and family of lone, Cal. visited' among old friends in Ballard, Bal-lard, one afternoon during the week. Mr. and Mrs. Sanford Butcher and baby daughter of Sidney, Nebraska Ne-braska are visiting Sanford's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Butcher and family. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hatch and family of Heber spent Father's day at the home of Mr. and' Mrs. Jerry Hatch. Jerry has been at Book Cliffs fire fighting. Mrs. Von Haslem spent several sev-eral days in Salt Lake City during the week visiting at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Hayes and Mr. and Mrs. Jay Haslem. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Betts of Roosevelt announce the arrival of their third son. The doting grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Betts and Mr. and Mrs. Alden White are all from Ballard. Mrs. Jack Cook and Mrs. Junior Betts were speakers at sacrament meeting Sunday, June 17. Mrs. Gareth Anderson and' daughter, Beverly sang, "That Silver Haired Daddy of Mine." Mr. and Mrs. Mont Poulson of Duchesne visited with Mr. and Mrs. Elton Kettle and family and Mr. and Mrs. George Bracken on Sunday, June 17. Donald Heed is employed at the Calvin Squire farm this summer. |
