Show People Up To 20 Can Receive Polio Vaccine Due to the continuous increase in-crease in the manufacture 'of the polio vaccine, the priority group eligible to receive polio vaccine has now been enlarged' to include in-clude all people under 20 years of age and expectant mothers. This announcement was made today by Arvin L. Bellon, chairman, chair-man, Duchesne County Polio Chapter and County representative represent-ative for the Polio Advisory Committee of the State Department Depart-ment of Health. Vaccine is now plentiful and much of it must be used by certain deadlines or it wilL be useless. Vaccine for the third or "booster" injection, has also been released, and it is urged that all within the priority age group immediately obtain shots whether it is the first, second, or third shot. "We hope to be able to establish es-tablish a clinic for polio shots within the next two weeks and more definite information will be given next week," states Mr. Bellon. |
