Show ELeUt Mrs. Garda Seeley PRIMARY CONVENTION A two-stake Moon Lake and Duchesne Primary convention was held at Altamont Saturday. Mrs. Lue Groesbeck and Mrs. Catherine A. Rich of the Primary General Board Members were the guest speakers and gave some fine messages to all Primary workers. Those from Blubell attending at-tending were Thelma Cook, Lucille Lu-cille Winkler, Garda Seeley, Fon-tella Fon-tella Jenkins, Cleona Remington, Maxine Todd, Edith Gale, Dor-thella Dor-thella Murray, Violet Bristol, Lois Goodrich and Grace Cook. The theme of the conference was "Be Thou Humble." Miss Hazel Jenkins and Mrs. Marie Hamaker and family of Odgen spent the weekend here with their parents. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Jenkins. Elaine Jenkins returned re-turned with them after spending a week vsiting them and a week at Girls' State in Logan. The three small children of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jenkins of Nor-walk, Nor-walk, Calif., are here visiting with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Jenkins. Mr.' and Mrs. Justin .Winkler and daughter of Provo spent the j weekend here visiting with rela-j tives. Mr. and Mrs. Orval. Bird visited j Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Bird. j Mrs. Loretta Murray suffered a heart attack early Thursday. She was taken to Duchesne for treatment. treat-ment. She was brought home the same day Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Bird are the proud parents of a baby girl, born Wednesday at the Roosevelt Hospital. The birds have a son. Mrs. Beulah Mathews of Roosevelt Roose-velt visited on Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Claud Allred and Mr. and Mrs. Claud Mathews. |
